Eh, I thought I left a comment here sudah masa atu. Hehe.
Anyways, I was gonna say – a baby bottle warmer is handy, but not 100% essential. We bought the Avent iQ one for Aisya, sanang warm up the milk thats been frozen and it always heats up to the right temperature so it was more convenient. But actually just leaving the milk running under tap water pun does the trick, it just takes a while longer.
Also, for swaddling blankets, the ones yg di Mothercare (even though it says for newborns) are way too big for newborns. Not sure how big Munchkin will be, but for Aisya, even masa ia 2 months old, the swaddling blanket was still too big and by that time, she didn’t want to be swaddled anymore. There’s this cotton/fleece kind of material yg bjual disini, and you can buy it per meter. We bought a few pieces and kind of made our own swaddling blanket and Aisya loved it. We’ll send over a few when Bapa n Mama go over there, mana tau Munchkin pun suka =)

Thank you, that’s really useful!! I’ve been going back and forth on the bottle warmer for the longest time! Coz I’ve found a few that are half-price here, but I wasn’t sure if I’d get a lot of use out of it with breastmilk. So now that I know I can use the bottle warmer for frozen milk, I’ll have a look into it. Heehee.
And yea, I remember you saying Aisya didn’t like the swaddling blanket from Mothercare too much, that’s why I was still contemplating it. But thank you! Bisai jua ada bejual per meter ah. I’ll just wait for that then coz I haven’t seen those around here. Hehe thanks again!

I think you guys are on the right track. Just make sure you don’t buy too many Newborn clothes because your baby will prolly end up not wearing after 2 weeks! I think with what u have is enough for newborns. So get 1-3 months I would imagine.
And with the blankets..well, I only have 4 pulang. Well 6 in total because orang bagi. four is enough for me. But Im not sure when Munchkin born nanti masa nearing winter kan. But then again, you will swaddle him kan, so I think it’s enough tu. Coz it’s dangerous if the baby is over-heated. You might want to read on that.
2 mittens is definitely not enough i think. I advice to buy it from primark because it’s 2 pairs for 50p whereas di Mothercare is 2.50 for 2 pairs!

Hehe and yea I suppose the six blankets atu is for layering to adjust to the temperature. Coz Hafidz pun kajut we had to buy six, takut nya over heat! Lol but I told him we won’t be putting it all on Munchkin at once!
